AMY JACKSON

A C T R E S S

My Storyin the third person, the way  the cool kids do it

Amy is a professional SAG-AFTRA elligible actor based bicoastally in Los Angeles and New York City who has appeared in films and on several television shows. Her dynamic personality and eclectic interests enable her to believably portray a wide variety of characters in many different performance art mediums, from 'pretty girl next door' to 'frumpy cat lady'. Growing up, she loved to entertain her friends by crying on command and behaving for days at a time as one of her characters, to be silly. Jackson used to think it was a sign of impending doom, that either she was on the brink of Multiple Personalities Disorder or was just a real weirdo. The jury is still out on the weirdo idea, but she's learned that she isnt crazy, just has a passion for performance.

Amy has most recently completed Stuart Stone's Commercial Acting Workshop and she is currently studying improv comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade as well as Second City in Los Angeles. She hopes to continue to grow as an artist and find her footing in live-performance entertainment.

Recent television appearances include roles on Adult Swim's "Jack&Triumph" and "The Roostar Inc". Amy's currently in production as an actor and co-producer in the SAG/DGA film "The Statement", filming in New York. Amy can be seen as a lead in many music videos, acting as a "Wild'n'Out Girl" and found in print as well, with a background in modeling. A natural ham with a passion for performance, Amy has competed in pagaents, walked runways, modeled for clothing lines, posed for calendars and magazines, guest-hosted radio shows and more, but found her true calling acting for film and television and has been training to develop her passion into a career.. and hopefully, make money doing it one day.
